Internet
As the sport moves into the media giants of national TV and Internet Promotion, viable sponsorship opportunites arise. All
major events are represented on the world wide web and promote their events and sponsors. Major equestrian athletes are highlighted
for the draw of spectators that they attract. As a rider becomes more popular, they are featured on countless equestrian
magazines and websites as their recognition grows.
Interactive websites can bring play by play coverage of major events as well. This year, the cross country phase of Badminton
Horse Trials was available worldwide on BBC interactive. The Equestrian Channel is developing ideas on bringing major events
to your computer screen.
