GALWAY DOWNS INTERNATIONAL HORSE TRIALS
CIC *** World Cup Qualifier, CIC **
March 31 - April 2, 2006
Robyn Fisher, 26, of West Hills, CA clinches wins in both the CIC***(W)and the CCI** in one fell swoop. Robyn and her
advanced partner, Le Samurai, led after the CIC*** dressage by over 20 points, leaving her a convincing lead over Jennifer

jumping, ending on a score of 78.8. Lauren Whitlock (21, Rohnert Park, CA) and her 13 year-old Thoroughbred gelding, Kipling,

The Red Hills Horse Trials
The Red Hills Horse Trials epitomize the world class event. This weekend (March 10 -12, 2006), the Red Hills Horse Trials
held at the Elinor Klark-Phipps Park in Tallahassee, Florida provided an unrivalled experience for the some forty thousand
spectators that flocked to see Olympic medallists and the best from eight countries perform. The magnificence of equestrian
sport combined with community involvement from neighborhood vendors ensured a balance of entertainment for all those who attended.
Young and old came to see horses and riders compete in the World Cup Qualifying event, which takes place in Malmo, Sweden
in September, 2006.
In the CIC ***, Phillip Dutton and The Foreman cemented their 2005 USEA Standings by claiming first place with a score
of 62 over Olympic Gold Medallist Leslie Law and Shear L'Eau and Olympic medallist Darren Chiaccia and Windfall II. Jonathan
Holling on Lion King ll achieved the same feat and a second in the World Cup Qualifier with a brilliant cross country and
double clear in show jumping, ending on a score of 65.1. Leslie and his mount placed third with a score of 68.5. Phillip Dutton
and Connaught placed fourth with 72.4 and Heidi White and North Star were edged out to fifth place with 72.7. Mara Dean and
Nicki Henly placed sixth with 76.1, closely followed by Karen O'Connor and Upstage with a score of 76.7 and a seventh place
standing. Bruce Davidson Sr and Jam claimed eighth place with a score of 79.8.
In the CIC **, Phillip once again proved his competitive edge on Lucky Star with 51.6, well ahead of Leslie Law's bid
on Another Garrison with a 59.2. On their heals were Mara Dean on Jos Ambition, coming in a very close third with 59.7.
Elisa Wallace and Jackson were one of only two pairs that ended on their dressage score of 61.9, securing her fourth place
standing. In fifth place, Emilee Libby in Cahir earned 63.3. Sixth place was awarded to Buck Davidson with Private Heart
