NBC Will Air the Rolex Equestrian Championships Right Before the Preakness Stakes

Due to the NHL Playoff game running into three overtimes, the highlight show from the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event will now air Saturday, May 16, 2009, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. ET as the lead-in to NBC's coverage of the Preakness.

Live Online Coverage Begins Thursday, April 16, 2009

The top riders in the world compete as Universal Sports presents live TV and online coverage of the Rolex FEI World Cup Final from Las Vegas, Nevada, April 16-19, 2009. Coverage will include the Dressage Grand Prix, Jumping Finals I, II, and III, and the Dressage Final.

The Rolex FEI World Cup Finals, held annually since 1979, features the world's best dressage and show jumping horses and riders in the world. This year, the field includes 2008 Olympic Gold medalists McLain Ward and Beezie Madden representing the United States in show jumping. Since it began, the World Cup Jumping Final has been held in the United States eight times, and the U.S. holds the most jumping titles of any country, with seven victories.

The FEI World Cup Dressage was introduced in 1986. This year's competition will feature Individual Olympic Gold Medalist and defending World Cup champion Anky van Grunsven and the American star from the Beijing Olympic Games, Steffen Peters.

Brave St. Productions and Offield Farms are pleased to announce that Fox Reality Channel will begin airing The Search for America's Next Equestrian Star: Dressage on Friday, October 19, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. EST. This unique show consists of five hour-long episodes that will air sequentially at the same time every Friday through November 16, the show's finale. Fox Reality Channel airs on local market cable systems and DirecTV. The channel operates as a single feed meaning that the show will air at 9:00 a.m. on the East Coast, 8:00 a.m. Central and 6:00 a.m. West Coast. Viewers should check their local channel guide to confirm channel and time. The Fox Reality Channel is available nationwide on many cable and satellite providers, so contact your provider to upgrade your package if necessary.

NBC Coverage of the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event

NBC has expanded its television coverage of the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event from 60 to 90 minutes. The program will air on Saturday, May 15, from 3:00 to 4:30 EDT, just prior to the Preakness Stakes.  NBC will air an hour and a half of coverage, 30 minutes more than previously.

NBC Universal will be airing 3,600 hours of coverage of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, including the equestrian events, which will be taking place in Hong Kong. This total amount of coverage will be more than the hours of coverage for all the Olympic Games since 1960 Rome combined. All Broadcasts will also be in HD.
